Comments: Most of you probably know that Dan Burke is one of this countries top knife makers who always has a waiting list for whatever knives he produces - but you may not know he has been making knives for more than 30 years, and produces some of the custom knife worlds most interesting slip-joints and multi-blades.

Dan tells us that this knife is one of the first inlayed with Mother of Pearl in this fashion in the modern custom knife making age. We will take his word for it, but you don't have to be a knife historian to know there is really something special going on with this dressy slip-joint lobster patterns.

The tiny snowflake and leaf patterns are hand-made and hand-inlayed in a process that gives us a headache just thinking about it. But Dan spares no effort here creating luxurious and sophisticated gentleman's folders for the traditional knife fan.

They are almost impossible to resist and we bet you can't just buy one!
