D is a member of the Knife Makers Hall of Fame and has also been a member of the Knife Makers Guild for more than 32 years. He has served as on its board of directors in every position including President. He is also the recipient of the 1981 Red Watson Memorial Friendship Award, the 1991 Baretta Award and the 1997 Blade Magazine's Publisher's Award. This is really wonderful work from a top notch maker who is a true legend in his craft.
