Comments: A pair of wonderfully updated Integral fixed blades by noted German maker Michael Jankowsky with full tapered tang construction. These knives feature clean nicely balanced shapes with hand-rubbed satin blades and super clean grinding by the maker. Featured in David Darom's third book on the worlds finest knife makers, Michael considers Dietmar Kressler to be his biggest knife making influence.

A member of both the German and Italian Knife Makers Guilds, Michael has won prizes in Germany for his work and is considered one of Europe's most up and coming makers. He is very fond of natural materials, especially the elegance of Antique Ivory, and he always strives for lightness and that special in-hand spirit that makes you want to pick up his knives again and again.

As for steels Michael prefers the hi-tech powdered steels such as Elmax Super Clean, S30V and CPM. He also likes to work with top notch engravers, especially noted German engraver Kati Mau - who decorated both of these wonderful knives.

We believe these knives are a great value for the price -especially considering the integral construction and the amount of fine engraving. And once you've held one in your hand you will understand why we are so excited about these knives.
