Comments: These remarkable and unique "Electric Guitar 3" themed knife that well call "Electrified Axe" is by talented Montana knife maker Joe Olsen. Joe went through college on an Art Scholarship and ended up with a degree in teaching, but sites knife making as his first love along with the making and playing of electric guitars.

A big fan of Rick Dunkerly, Barry Gallagher, Shane Taylor and Wade Colter, Joe sites these folks as his major knife making influences. Joe is a sole-author who makes his own mosaic damascus steel and did all of the enamel inlay work on this fascinating piece.

There is lots of fine file work on the liners, blade and back spacer, and clip-point blade is heat-treated to bring out a rainbow of colors in the damascus. These knives are quite wonderful and we have never seen anything like them.
