Frank Potter is probably one of the hottest makers of knives on the market today. And if you haven’t handled one of Frank’s knives you are in for a treat. First of all there is the heft – when you have a Potter knife in your hand you know it’s there! Next is the variety and quality of the embellishments. This beauty has a dagger blade and bolsters of heat-colored hot-blued Eggerling Mosaic Damascus, and the bluing really brings out the color of the steel. In fact, the Eggerling Damascus in Frank Potter’s knives is strictly proprietary and is not sold to any other knife makers! The scales are made of premium mother-of-pearl and are attached with gold screws. The liners are delicately filed and heat colored to a rich gold, which nicely contrasts the delicately filed back-spacer. Go ahead and treat yourself – you will be amazed we promise! Frank made only 17 knives a year, and with his recent passing they are sure to increase in value with time. A great master who will be missed.
