Comments: Those of you not familiar with the super clean work of Japanese maker Maseo Takahashi are in for the treat. A real deciple of the Loveless school, Maseo mostly creates Loveless inspired fighters and hunters for his fans around the world.

Normally a fixture on the American Knife Show circuit, Maseo has not visited the US in a couple of years, which means his knives are in very short supply. This particular piece is a long Loveless Drop-point Hunter with outstanding matched scales of Presetation Grade Sambar Stag.

The blade is beautifully ground and the fit of the guard to the blade is without flaw. If you are a fan of Loveless style fixed blades you will not be disappointed with this example of Maseo's art.
